Agriculture Program
475 million smallholder farmers face increasingly volatile growing conditions with limited access to timely information or advisory support. AI can deliver more accurate forecasts, personalized agronomic guidance, and early-warning systems at dramatically lower cost. For farmers earning less than $1,500 annually in some of the world’s most climate-vulnerable communities, we believe there might be billions in economic gains to be unlocked.
We’re especially excited about AI weather forecasting, benchmarking, and LLM farmer advisory tools.
Health Program
More than 50% of the world’s population lacks full coverage of essential health services, with poor-quality care driving the majority of preventable deaths in LMICs. AI has the potential to expand access, improve the quality of medical triage and diagnosis, and reduce costs across last-mile health systems. Using existing digital infrastructure we think it has the potential to reach tens of millions, averting an huge volume of global DALYs.
We’re particularly excited about AI CDS (clinical decision support), direct to consumer triage chatbots, and telehealth solutions.
